ACM Conference Proceedings

Rapid Dissemination of Research Findings

Conference proceedings capture the cutting edge of innovation across the spectrum of computing fields by publishing refereed research findings and invited papers from ACM conferences, workshops and symposia. More than any other field, conferences are a vital publication venue in computing, where the most cutting edge research is presented and discussed. ACM and its Special Interest Groups convene more than 170 conferences, symposia and workshops each year. Proceedings from these events are included in the ACM Digital Library.

ACM Print on Demand (POD)

ACM is working with the leading Print-On-Demand vendor, Lightning Source, to make hardcopy versions of ACM's conference proceedings available post conference to predominantly institutional customers, such as academic and corporate libraries, via some of the most popular online book retailers, such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com.

Proceedings already produced by Sheridan Printing will automatically appear in the program. Proceedings from ACM sponsored or co-sponsored conferences produced by other services need to submit an application form.

ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS)

The ACM International Conference Proceeding Series (ICPS) provides a mechanism to publish the contents of conferences, technical symposia and workshops and thereby increase their visibility among the international computing community. The goal of this program is to enable conferences and workshops to cost effectively produce proceedings which provide maximum dissemination of the material through electronic channels, specifically, the ACM Digital Library.

Conferences that are not sponsored by an ACM SIG or another unit of ACM may publish their proceedings within ICPS.

Conferences that are in-cooperation with an ACM SIG must apply to ICPS in order to get published in the ACM Digital Library.

The ACM Author Rights and Publishing Policy will apply to the proceedings. The proceedings will appear in the ACM Digital Library.
